Our farm workshops explain the basics of organic farming and the deeper connection between agriculture and ecology.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Nature Experience&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Spending time in nature is the first step to opening children's minds to the wonders of the Earth's environment and instilling the desire to protect the natural world. While exploring the forests, fields and caves of Mt Fuji, we encourage students to think about how their own lives are interconnected with all other living organisms.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Gems　Programs&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Developed at Berkley University, these mini science exploration activities are aimed encouraging curiosity and inquiry into the natural world. By using basic scientific methods, children learn creative thinking and problem solving skills.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Crafts and Cottage Industry&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;With activities like wood crafts, paper making and soap making, we get students thinking about where our basic commodities come from, their impact on indusrty on the environment, and how they can help improve our methods of production and consumption.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Horse Riding&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Next to our farm are two horse ranches where our guests can ride and take lessons.&lt;br /&gt;Paddy Field is a Western-style professional riding school where beginners  can learn the basics of riding, and experienced riders have a chance to explore the trails of Mt. Fuji.&lt;br /&gt;Kiso Uma Bokujo has traditional Japanese horses and offers trail rides for inexperienced riders and also special programs for handicapped children.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Blueberry Picking&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Our neighbors in Narusawa Village grow natural blueberries and love to have us come and help with picking in the summer. All-you-can-eat picking and take home options available.
